Alexa can provide your guests with answers to dozens of questions about your hotel, places in the area and things to do – answers that you as the management specifically define.

As a hotel manager, you are an expert on the local area. This skill makes it easy for you to give guests customized information on your hotel, as well as those insights about the local area that they can’t get using a web search.

Here is an example interaction your guests can have:

‘Alexa, ask the hotel concierge’ (Alexa responds with a personalized welcome for your hotel)
‘Tell me the wifi password’ (Alexa responds with the wifi password you provide to your guests)
‘I’d like some restaurant recommendations’ (Alexa responds with your specific recommendations)
‘what time do we need to check out?’ (Alexa responds with the info you specifically want your guests to know)
‘That’s all.’

Here is how to set up your own concierge service at your hotel:

1. Enable this skill by clicking on the Enable Skill button on this page. A window will come up for you to sign in. Sign in with the account that you use with Alexa at your hotel. We recommend a separate account for your hotel.

2. Go to the Manager Portal at: Login with the Amazon account you created for your hotel, and follow the instructions there to save your tailored content.
